Collages

The collages use handmade paper as the base - for me it symbolizes the elements of nature: plant material, sun, rain and earth. I have superimposed meshes made from paper pulp and twine because they remind me of our memories - fleeting, layered and complex. The found objects and other elements incorporated in the collages represent the wisps of rememberings that make up our experiences.
